** As defined by the World Bank (July 2006), low-income countries and lower middle income countries. Many countries are covered by the World Bank definitions. Of these, among the principal countries with Peatland interests are: China, Cuba, Georgia, Armenia, Belarus, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Ukraine, all Africa except South Africa.

The registration fee for delegates includes admission to sessions, poster and commercial exhibition area, delegates’ information package, lunches, tea and coffee on Congress days and the Congress Opening Reception.
Day Delegates registrations are limited and we advise that they should be booked in advance. Your registration includes breaks and lunch for the day and you will receive a delegate pack which will include a CD version of the proceedings not a printed version.
The registration fee for accompanying persons includes the Congress Opening Reception, lunches on Congress days, and a tour or tours which will be described on the website.
For delegates & for accompanying persons, the Congress dinner must be booked and paid for separately.
Wednesday Field Trips
Your field trips can be booked using the online registration at €60 per person.
Post Congress Tour 13 to 17 June
The post-Congress tour can be booked using the online registration at €550 per person.
Gala Dinner
Gala Dinner tickets can be booked using the online registration at €85 per person.

Payment
The preferred method of payment is credit card. You can also pay by bank transfer or by posting a Euro Bank Draft drawn on an Irish Bank. Full details are available on the Congress web site.
Congress Cancellation Policy
Notice of cancellation must be sent in writing to the congress administrator.
Neither the Organising Committee nor the congress secretariat will be responsible for exchange rate losses incurred at cancellation.
The fees to be charged on registration and social event cancellation to cover administration expenses will be: € 50 per person
Before March 1 2008: From March 2nd to May 1st 2008: 50% cancellation fee. After May 1st 2008: no refund.
Group Bookings
25% booking deposit required with full balance due 8 weeks in advance
Cancellation fees - deposit is non refundable
4 months in advance - Cancellation fees are equal to 50% of the total cost
2 months in advance - Cancellation fees are full cost

Individual Bookings
Deposit: 1 nt deposit is required at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy :
Prior to March 1 2008 – no cancellation fee applies
Between March 2 and May 1 – Cancellation fee is 1 night
After May 2 – Cancellation is on request basis only
Group bookings
Deposit: 25% booking deposit is required with full balance due 8 weeks in advance
Cancellation Policy:
4 months in advance – cancellation fees are equal to 50% of the total cost
2 months in advance – cancellation fees are full cost
